Alys Beach knows how to celebrate the Fourth of July! The fireworks show at Alys Beach begins at 9 p.m. after the sun has completely set and the sky is dark but pre-fireworks festivities start as early as 6 p.m. Raleigh and I love taking the kids to Alys Beach to watch their fireworks show because it is close to our house and they celebrate the holiday with food trucks, a live band in their outdoor amphitheater, and a spectacular display of lights to celebrate the holiday.

Highway 30-A has some of my all-time favorite restaurants. If you are new to 30A or travel here every so often, trust me when I say you will eat food that will become your new favorites. In today’s post, I share my top ten favorite places to eat on 30-A.

Our new home, Price Place, was purchased in January with the intent of updating the design to fit the needs of our family of six. The home was built in the 1980s and all the bedrooms were upstairs. We’ve decided to make one of the rooms downstairs our master bedroom so the kids can have the upstairs rooms and bathrooms (we are so thankful for now having separate bathrooms for the boys and the girls!). The major home projects are adding on a master bathroom downstairs and redesigning the layout of the kitchen. Minor updates include all the basics: paint, hardware, lighting, floors. Renovations have begun and we plan to move in once the upstairs bedrooms are ready.
